Job Description

The Process Controller is responsible for maintaining efficiency standards and ensuring seamless operations within the Milling Plant. This role encompasses overseeing all aspects of the milling process, reporting on mill performance, and providing recommendations to enhance quality, efficiency, and production outcomes. Key tasks include monitoring raw material, in-process, and final product samples to ensure precise analysis and compliance with quality standards. The Process Controller also ensures no product deviations, drives continuous improvements, and reduces waste while maintaining adherence to Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) guidelines and legal requirements.

Duties & Responsibilties
  • Compliance with all EH & S guidelines and procedures.
  • Responsible for controlling the milling division.
  • Responsible for reporting on mill operations to advice accordingly.
  • Maintain and control and ensure correct quality and quantity product.
  • Ensure no deviation of products.
  • Monitor mill operations and make recommendations and advice.
  • Ensure continues improvements on mill production and advice.
  • Analysis of all raw material, in-process and final product samples submitted to the lab.
  • Ensure accurate and precise analysis of all samples.
  • Reduce waste.
  • Perform any other related duties in the interest of CEMZA as instructed.
  • Work according to Integrated (Environmental and Quality) Management System requirements.
  • Work according to Instructions / Procedures as pertaining to his/her operation function as assigned and abide by all legal (laws/by-laws) requirements / Company Policies and Practices.
Minimum Requirements
  • National Diploma in Chemical Engineering.
