Junior Sales Representative

Cemza is seeking a motivated and results-driven Junior Sales Representative to join our Sales team in Upington, Northern Cape. This role focuses on maintaining and expanding the customer base, achieving agreed monthly sales and listing targets, and identifying new market opportunities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering market intelligence, monitoring competitor activity, maintaining strong customer relationships, and ensuring all sales are concluded professionally and efficiently. A strong focus on customer service, market awareness, and sales performance is essential in this role.
Maintain and grow the existing customer base.
Increase customer base monthly by identifying new customers and areas to penetrate.
Achieve monthly sales and listing targets.
Conduct regular customer visits and follow up on queries promptly and professionally.
Gather information on market segments, competitor pricing, and strategies.
Ensure customers are informed about product offerings and updates.
Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and professional conduct at all times.
Develop customers in line with company strategy to maintain market share and loyalty.
Ensure compliance with EH&S guidelines and company policies.
Perform any additional duties in the interest of Cemza as required.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a sales environment.
Customer service orientated.
Proven ability to meet targets and work independently.
Excellent communication skills.
Computer literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
SAP knowledge (advantageous).
Strong team player.
Ability to drive innovation and work towards performance targets.
