Cemza is seeking a dedicated and strategic Bulk Sales Consultant for the Cape Town region. This role involves maintaining existing bulk clients, acquiring new customers, and increasing monthly sales and listings. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing customer relationships, providing support with logistics and administration, and gathering market insights to help guide Cemza’s regional sales strategy. This is a performance-driven role suited for someone with solid industry knowledge, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
Maintain and grow the existing bulk cement customer base.
Achieve monthly sales and product listing targets.
Identify new clients and develop untapped areas for Cemza’s bulk offering.
Provide support and information to clients to ensure an informed customer base.
Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and strategy.
Keep abreast of product knowledge and maintain professionalism at all touchpoints.
Ensure successful order processing and follow-through to delivery.
Handle customer queries efficiently and follow up on deliveries and load projections.
Conduct regular site visits and build strong customer relationships.
Submit accurate weekly load projections and support with daily admin tasks.
Assist the Commercial Manager and Plant team with field-related feedback and performance insights.
Matric (Grade 12) minimum.
2–3 years’ experience in bulk cement or industrial building materials sales.
Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
Valid driver’s license and own vehicle (essential).
Ability to manage a sales pipeline and perform under pressure.
Proven track record in meeting sales targets and developing client accounts.
Existing network within the construction, civils, or bulk transport sectors in Cape Town.
Experience selling clinker, fly ash, or similar cementitious materials.
Ability to work independently while reporting back on regional performance.
R20,000.00 – R30,000.00 CTC per month (negotiable based on experience).
Commission and incentive structure.
Tools of the trade: cellphone, laptop, mileage or fuel allowance.
